Cutting Cost on Streaming Service

There are multiple options for streaming services and all of these services have something unique to offer, mostly with their original or exclusive content. This pushes people to subscribe to multiple services, which increases their entertainment budget. However, I have a simple rule to cut costs. I don’t subscribe to multiple streaming services at once, I choose just one and if I find content I want to watch on other platform, I unsubscribe the current one and switch to other. I also avoid plans that allow multiple devices at the same time, which cost more.

We only have Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max. Prime video would be a nice to have.

I get Netflix free through my Telco but I'm sure it's in with the cost of the broadband package somehow.

I am currently using Movie Box, which contains movies and TV shows from most of the streaming services, so I don't have to worry about switching from one streaming service to another to watch a movie or TV show.

I have Netflix subscription but whenever I don't want to renew my subscription, I have so many other alternatives. I can use Movie Box, Fmz movies, and Tvshows4mobile to download or stream online free.

I have seen gullible people paying for Netflix, Prime, and Showmax at the same time. A friend of mine is in that category. It's a pure waste of money. I have a very simple strategy. I sub on one platform for one month, watch all the good series there, cancel it, then move to the next one the following months.

I cut cost by subscribing to one service at a time. I have never payed for multiple services at once. The subscription fees are high, so you need to spend wisely.

I am subscribed to three different streaming services at the moment, but I am lucky for them to be within my budget at the moment.

I would consider unsubscribing from one service once I have watched everything I wanted to watch that was available, and then subscribe to the next one to watch something else I am interested in, but my kids tend to watch different things than me, so cancelling one and subscribing to another wouldn’t quite work for me.
