Is releasing an entire season at once better than weekly episodes?

There's something satisfying about having an entire season available at once, especially when a show is so good that you can't wait to find out what happens next. But weekly releases have their own charm because they give fans time to discuss theories, debate episodes, and build excitement between releases. Sometimes, dropping everything at once also means a show dominates conversations for just a few days before everyone moves on.

Which do you prefer: getting an entire season at once so you can binge-watch, or waiting for weekly episodes that keep the excitement going longer?

No, it’s always better to release episodes weekly; otherwise, a series ends up being stretched out far longer than it would naturally last. The whole point is for a season to last as long as possible, rather than having it be over in less than a week.

I think with the way things are now with streaming services, and how easily accessible entire seasons are now for people, such as on sites like Netflix, Disney Plus, and Amazon Video, releasing entire seasons seems more ideal than releasing weekly episodes.

I can understand why some producers of TV shows though would want to still do weekly episodes, especially those who like to do cliffhangers in certain episodes and keep the viewers in suspense until the next episode.
