Home Improvement shows

I’m more into Home Improvement shows than I am sitcoms. Anyone else enjoy watching these? Which are your favorites?

I used to love watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

I thought this was Home Improvement the TV show haha

As a kid my dad always had on “This Old House with Steve & Norm”. Occasionally watch it today. Changing Rooms was another old school favourite too but it went too silly.

I rarely watch them, so I do not have a favorite. Though I have come across some that I actually enjoyed, that's just it. If I come across it by accident and there is nothing else to watch, that's when I watch it.

I always remember when I was younger, my mum used to leave the TV running after watching a soap drama that she used to watch, and all too often, it was usually a home improvement program that came on.

One I remember very well was Changing Rooms. This one was one where two homeowners would switch homes and do each other’s homes up DIY, home improvement style, with professionals to help.

I remember one episode where one homeowner cried after she saw the makeover and she hated it.

It was my children that made me develop interest in home renovation shows and they are surprisingly addictive. Seeing an old broken house get transformed into luxury mansion is something interesting.

I watch home improvement shows sometimes. It will always inspire you to fix your own place too. There was a day I was moved to do small repairs myself.
