I watched a few episodes of season one back then, but I found it scary and disturbing. I was still very young, so I guess I might react to it differently if I try to watch it now.
The season one of American Horror Story gave me nightmares for weeks when I newly watched it. I didn't have a peaceful sleep all through the week. It was so devastating.
AHS is very disturbing but it's full of entertainment too. The first season is very scary but as you watch more seasons, you will appreciate the storytelling more.
