The longest gaming session I have ever had was when I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the first time on a Nintendo 64 emulator. I actually played this game all through the night till the next morning. What's the longest gaming session you have ever had?

My longest session is like 12 hours. I recorded that time when I was playing GTA San Andreas non-stop. To be honest, when a game is good, time flies. You won't even know when you spend so much time on them.

I have played games from like 6pm till 7am in the morning. I've got snacks and water around which makes playing games for that long pretty fun. Also, it is always fun when I have friends around playing the game with me because that is what will make me not to sleep off.

My longest gaming session happened during summer break when I was younger, when I pulled a massive 12 to 13-hour marathon on a single game. Time completely vanished, and I did not even notice the hours flying by until the sun came up. It was honestly one of those unforgettable gaming memories where you are just completely immersed in the world and nothing else matters around you.

8 hours—but that includes breaks for the bathroom, eating, etc. If I were to subtract the time spent on all that, it would really come out to about 6 hours, or perhaps a little less, of actual playtime.

I have played for 4 hours at a stretch before. I enjoyed the particular game and I didn’t even know when I lost track of the time. Good old days.

My longest gaming session was around 5 hours. That was during corona pandemic. I have played games for 10-12 hours as well but not in a single session, I took a couple of breaks that lasted 1-2 hours.

That seems perfectly normal to me; of course, needing to take breaks between sessions is standard. Spending so much time in front of a screen—even when gaming—eventually becomes stressful, so it’s completely natural to need an hour or more to clear your head. Plus, you surely have other things to attend to in your daily life as well.
